Our Story

Ship Faced Bloody Mary Mix was founded by lifelong friends and high school classmates, Joe Dike and Paul DeFazio. Paul, a local Deputy Sheriff, began crafting his own Bloody Mary mix several years ago after being unable to find a bottled mix that met his standards. He shared his handcrafted recipe with friends and family at golf outings, gatherings, and casual weekends at home – quickly earning a reputation for creating the perfect Bloody Mary.

In 2017, Joe opened a small bar called The Old Fish House in their hometown of Huron, Ohio. Wanting to offer something unique, he introduced a Bloody Mary bar on weekends and asked Paul to supply his signature mix. The concept was an immediate hit, with customers lining up out the door to enjoy a fully loaded Bloody Mary.

Soon, customers began requesting bottles to take home. Paul, with the help of Joe’s mother, Christine, began canning the mix in mason jars and selling them out of the bar. The demand proved that they had created something special.

In the spring of 2018, Ship Faced Bloody Mary Mix was officially born. Today, Ship Faced has become a local favorite, proudly carried and served by grocery stores, bars, restaurants, markets, and liquor stores throughout Ohio – and is expanding nationally with online availability and placements in multiple states.


Our Product

Ship Faced Bloody Mary Mix delivers an explosion of flavors with the perfect amount of heat – not too thick, not too thin. Paul refuses to cut corners, using only top-shelf ingredients in every bottle, unlike many mixes that rely on lower-quality replacements. Each batch is bottled at Creative Foods in Hanahan, South Carolina to ensure consistency and excellence.
